Kings Of Chaos Triumph In South Africa

One of our clients, Glenn Hughes, recently returned from South Africa with Kings Of Chaos, comprised of members from the biggest names in rock music, performing hits from Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Deep Purple and more.

Band members on this recent run of dates in Cape Town and Sun City were Slash (Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver), Matt Sorum (Guns ‘n Roses, Velvet Revolver, The Cult), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Country Communion), Gilby Clarke (Guns ‘n Roses), Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), Myles Kennedy
(Alter Bridge), Dave Kushner (Velvet Revolver) and Ed Roland (Collective Soul).

Playing to sold out crowds, the band was heralded as a true LIVE supergroup; “they sounded flawless, and the fun they were having on stage, was certainly felt by the audience. The crowd could sense the brotherhood, and it made for an unforgettable dynamic.” (Rolling Stone South Africa).

With tentative plans for a South American tour later in the year, fans from around the world are already clamoring for live dates in their home continents. The future looks bright for this new ‘band of brothers‘ 😎

The project was the brainchild of Matt Sorum and promoter Gabe Reed.

“We thought it would be a really great idea to put together a band of some of our favorite musicians from the history of rock. I think it’s going to be exciting to go see the hits of Kiss, Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Billy Idol, The Cult and Alice In Chains. That’s where the vibe came from.”

The tour will begin April 19th in Asuncion, Paraguay and play mostly in capital cities throughout South and Central America. The last stop on the tour will be May 6th in Caracas, Venezuela.
